Stamps

Since the introduction of the Penny Black in 1940, stamps have been collected by philatelists for their rarity and significance.

Stamps initially showed a portrait of the monarch but over the years were developed to show times of historical importance including changes to country names and boundaries and also to commemorate literature, music and other interests.

At auction we can offer your stamp collection in one of our specialist collectors sales.  Peter Read our stamp consultant will appraise your stamps and FDCs for sale and put them in appropriate lots to tempt bidders home and away.
