A VICTORIAN SILVER SET OF FISH EATERS, London 1855 for John James Whiting, Kings pattern, the fork with pierced and foliate scroll engraved head, the slice pierced and engraved with foliate scrolls and a fisherman hauling nets within an oval seascape, vacant cartouche, approximate length 34cm, in fitted case, total approximate weight 12oz
Fish Slice: Patinated, slight scratches, good condition.
Serving Fork: As above.
Box exterior: Worn, discoloured. Some splits on the corners.
Box interior: Discoloured silk to the top. Worn and discoloured velvet to the base.
The engraving is good and sharp. This set has been little used.
Overall good condition.
