Four large, 19th century miser’s purses, the first crocheted in navy blue with the addition of cream gold metal thread used for a classical design to ether end, two bi-coloured metal rings and a small bobble to all four corners; together with an example in deep salmon and black, the ends rounded and beaded in cut steel, the central sections beaded in black and cream, furnished with two silver rings and finished with decorative cut steel tassels; a navy blue purse with cut steel beads, one end rounded with a steel bobble, the other squared off; and a brown example, similar (4) (Shipping category D)
The first two are in very good order, the others have some tarnish to the steel.
