A horn brisé fan c 1820’s, with barrel head, piqué, 20 pointed sticks, and two guards, painted with a band of summer flowers, guard approx. 15.5cm, together with a fan retailed by the Fan Museum Trust to celebrate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother (1900 – 1990), the sticks being of different shades of horn, the leaf mounted à l’anglaise, made by Fans Ltd, with a portrait of the Queen Mother surrounded by images of the Royal Residences, with modern, lined box, guard approx. 25.5 cm (2) (Shipping category C)
The horn brisé has loss from one tip and is very slightly warped, the Royal fan is as new.
