C 1880's, two fans with black wood montures, the first mounted with a fabric leaf printed in the style of a paisley shawl, in bold colours and backed with brown glazed cotton, guard approx. 28 cm: together with a wood fan with gilding to the sticks, mounted with a paper leaf printed with an elaborate and detailed design of Brussels Point de Gaze, and backed with glazed cotton, guard approx. 27 cm, both contained in a wood box bearing a Christmas label but undated.
