A good late 19th century fan, the monture of Tahiti pearl, the leaf of black machine lace with a floral design, backed with a cream gauze, mounted a l'anglaise, the ribs painted black, guard approx. 32 cm, contained in a sturdy cream fan box with label for J. Duvelleroy, London, 167 Regent Street. (fan + box)

Some staining to the cream gauze. Repair to the lower guard. The box base is slightly damaged and a previous auctioneer has sadly marked a lot number in felt tip pen on the lid exterior.
