AN EBONISED AND GILT CHINOISERIE BREAKFRONT BOOKCASE CABINET, the top gilded with island vignette above a tracery glazed door flanked by a glazed and panelled door to either side, applied with island and pagoda scenes, the side panels gilded with exotic birds amongst prunus blossom, blind fretwork frieze and conforming square legs with fretwork angle brackets, c1910-20, 168cm wide x 39cm deep x 137cm high
The decoration to the surface has been partially worn by water damage and there is a ring mark. Interior has some dark spots on the ivory fabric lining. Otherwise, this is in very good condition, light wear and tear only.
