An Edwardian honey watered silk taffeta skirt and bodice, striped with aqua, the tailored, boned bodice and skirt trimmed with machine lace, the bodice with an inner layer fastening with hooks and eyelets, the lace panel lined with pale lemon silk, bodice and skirt with the addition of aqua ribbon, the skirt being in 2 layers, the underneath layer being lemon silk taffeta with two pleated frills and a flounce of the machine lace (2) (Shipping category D)
The underarms have a few short splits to the exterior. There are marks on the skirt. The lemon silk is possibly a later addition, hand sewn, as is the cream silk on the inside of the high neck. One dark mark on the net. The skirt has a hole in the net and a brown mark nearby
