A selection of fans and ephemera: a 19th century greetings card, cut paper, silvered , applied with gold foil, and set with stones, a central cut paper loop holding a pink cut paper brisé fan; together with a cut and shaped cardboard Valentines fan printed with flowers, and the words A Loving Thought To My Valentine; a card brisé fan entitled The Perfumed Almanack 1876 – 1888; another dated 1874 – 1987; a brisé Floral Almanack dated 1877; a large matchbox containing cards printed with Chinese fan leaves; a set of playing cards, the design of fans containing bicycles, 52 cards present; a Wedding Fan from Burma dating 1985 with accompanying research; an unopened 1990’s Italian magazine, Gioia with a free gift of a folding fan and two leaf shaped fixed fans, wood and fibre, one painted with colourful butterflies, the other with a five-claw Chinese dragon and Chinese lanterns each approx. 45 cm by 29 c (11) (Shipping category E)
