A 19TH CENTURY WOVEN SILK CUSHION, small, pale turquoise and gold, bearing the symbols and blazon of the 'Manchester |Unity of the Independent Order of ODD FELLOWS', their motto at the top 'Friendship, Love and Truth', the pictorial centre with a lower image of several robed figures examining a scroll, the larger grouping with adults and a child, various symbols, a laurel wreath, under sunrays bursting from clouds, and the all-seeing eye, bordered each side with gold metal thread ribbon, the outer edge finished in pale blue cord approx. 28cm by 24cm
