Two cream fans from the 1890’s, the first painted with a gathering of naked cherubs or children on a rowing boat, whilst the reserves portray Cupid with his bow and another cherub with wings, the silk leaf mounted in incised bone, guard approx. 34.5 cm; together with a second bone fan, the oyster silk leaf painted with small flowers, larger blooms being embroidered in silk threads, the painting continuing onto the gorge, guard approx. 32.5 cm; an incised bone fan with the blue silk satin leaf mounted à la sultane, and a large selection of broken fans for spares and repairs, some montures in good order, some leaves in good order (Shipping category D)
The first two fans have minor issues but are generally sound, the third fan has one broken guard but the form of the fan is otherwise mostly intact. The remainder of the fans have useful parts for repair.
