A small Brussels mixed lace fan of fontange form, the leaf mounted on pink mother of pearl, a central cartouche worked in needle lace on a hand made net, featuring a peacock perched on an elaborate bird table, with a background of flowers, fitted with a cream silk tassel, accompanied with a part of the original lace shop wrapping relating to a lace manufacturer, in Bruges, overall height approx. 24 cm, boxed; together with a second pink mother of pearl fan, the black gauze leaf painted with a maiden leaning on a style, accompanied by a small bird, the panel edged with black machine lace, guard approx. 30.5 cm, boxed, with a Duvelleroy label inside the lid ( 2 + 2 boxes)
