A Victorian desk time piece by Thomas Cole London, eight day movement, signed to the silvered engine turned and foliate engraved circular dial with black Roman numerals, and pierced blued steel spade hands within a rectangular foliate scroll engraved brass plate signed to the reverse, all mounted within a slightly later case, with a rectangular glass framed by a foliate carved brass bezel, foliate engraved brass recessed side and top plates, carrying handle, base plate and circular disc feet, approximate 19cm x 14cm x 8cm (at fault)

Movement: No Key. Not in going order. Balance staff broken, Fuzee on chain. The mainspring appears unbroken. Not original to case.
Dial: Some patination, some light scratching between Roman numeral VI and II.
Hands: Appear original and in good condition.
Case: Foliate engraved recessed panels to top and sides. May not be original to the movement and case.
Wooden case: Adapted - back door present and appear original to the wood case but a poor fit.
Ornate Brass Bezel: may not be original to the case or movement.
Glass: not original.
Brass top handle: Not original.
