The following lots come from a prestigious home in the South of England, spanning several generations: a fine early 20th century full length lace wedding dress, the underlayer of ivory silk satin, with fitted bodice fastening at the rear, the over layer made from deep flounces of embroidered net, tucked and draped to hang over the very short inner net sleeves, trained, with a slip of fine gauze trimmed with ivory fringing. The upper layers appear in god order, with a few minor holes in the lace layer and in the short sleeves.
