Original and unique fan painted by former fan Circle International member Kathy Maxwell of Australia, in 2019, on a modern monture, the paper leaf painted both sides, the signed recto with exotic and delicate orchids, the verso with exotic flowers and a highly detailed and colourful butterfly, with calligraphy on the underside of both guards, in original box, guard approx. 18cm; together with another original fan by Kathy, entitled “The 18th Century Revisited”, dated 1998, three pen and ink depictions of , from the left, the Infanta Maria Ludovica ( Maria Luisa of Spain, 1745 - 1792), Madame de Pompadour (1721 – 1764, official mistress of Louis XV), and Madame du Barry ( 1743 -1793, Louis XV’s last mistress), modern monture, the verso is plain, guard approx. 23 cm (2) (Shipping category C)
