A SET OF SIX VICTORIAN SILVER GILT TEASPOONS AND SUGAR TONGS, London 1895 for Wakely & Wheeler, each with a beaded and twisted stem terminating with a relief of Bacchus, pierced foliate scrolls and vacant cartouche to the reverse, approximate length 12cm all within a crimson silk and velvet lined case, total approximate weight 4.33oz
Spoons: All patinated to some extent. Very light scratches. Some wear to the gilt on the underside crown of each bowl.
Tongs: Some patination. Spring slightly out of shape.
Box Exterior: Some wear commensurate with age.
Box Interior: Very good condition. NB. the tongs do not fit well - see above.
Overall good condition.
