Oriental fans: A detailed Chinese folding fan with double paper leaf, each side showing a topographical scene, with buildings and rivers, calligraphy to one corner, the monture of light bamboo, guard approx. 25.5 cm; together with a Japanese wood brisé fan with delicate gold lacquer decoration to both guards and the body of the fan, featuring grapes on the vine, and birds, fitted with a double cream silk tassel, guard approx. 20 cm; a paper fan printed to the recto with a group of strolling Geishas, carrying parasols, the reserves with brightly coloured flowers, guard approx. 30 cm, and a more modern Japanese fan with lacquered sticks, and stiff double paper leaf decorated in red, pink, cream with gold highlights (4) (Shipping category C)
