A PAIR OF BURMESE BRONZE RAIN DRUMS, possibly 19th century of graduated size, finely cast, the patina with green and rust accents, the top with concentric bands and geometric ornament and with four groups of frogs, on top of one another, the tapered body with double strap handles, further bands of decoration and a procession of five graduated elephants in relief on one side, 57cm diameter x 42cm and 52cm diameter x 41cm

Provenance: Private Collection. Purchased in Hong Kong 20years ago as antique.
