A large, late 19th century Brussels bobbin lace fan, with aspects of Ghent Valenciennes to the flowers, the leaf with two gauze panels, a winged cherub to the left dressed in ethereal pink scarves, his wings blue, a small bird with red cap accompanying him, and to the right, a maiden seated amongst flowers, playing pipes, which attract the attention of two small birds, the monture of pink other of pearl, contained in one half of a card fan box, unlabelled, guard approx. 35 cm (Shipping category C)
Generally in good condition, the lace clean, both panels have slight losses into small holes with one fold just starting to split
