A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT METAL AND ALABASTER MANTEL CLOCK BY JAPY FRERES, having a 8-day drum movement striking on a bell, the back plate with Japy Freres stamp, no. 5674, the case with eagle and classical female mount, above porcelain portrait plaques, on paw feet and griffin mask supports, approximate 45cm wide x 34cm high
Movement: not currently functioning, appears original, both springs are complete
Dial: Appears original, complete, some fading to the gilt paint around the centre

Case: There appear to be some elements missing from behind the female figure, some patination and scratches to the alabaster, one chip to the extreme left corner, the painted plaques are complete but with some fading, the left pillar is loose some wear and patination on the gilt metal
