A 19TH CENTURY ST. GEORGE (OLD ENGLISH) POINTED TOP CHESS SET in ebonised and natural boxwood, height of King 85mm (chip on ring to two pawns)
Ebonised: Rook has slight chip to castellation, more to second rook. Two pawns have loss to top ring. One pawn has slight chip to ring.
One pawn wick to lower ring. Knight has small chip to top ring and head re-fixed with a bit of paper, tiny chip to tip of ear.
Natural: King has slight surface crack to one ring. Natural opening to base of one pawn. Small groove/chip to one ring on pawn.
