A GEORGE III OFFICER'S SWORD, Pattern 1796, approximate 82cm (32.5inch) single edged etched fullered blade, folding gilt bronze shell, wire wrapped grip with urnular pommel, leather scabbard, (at fault) missing chape, with brass mouthpiece and middle bevel, together with a similar Pattern 1796 officer's sword, with approximate 79cm (31inch) double edged straight blade, fixed shells, tape wrapped grip and urnular pommel and 18th century court sword, with approximate 81cm (32inch) etched rapier blade, cut steel folded shell guard, grip and urnular pommel

1. George III Officer's sword pattern 1796
- The blade: has been much corroded. The original etching is barely visible. It appears complete.
- The pommel, grip and guard: there is a base metal repair to both ends of the guard and the bud quillion is missing. The gilt is worn with use.
- The leather scabbard is cracked, the locket and mouthpiece etc are bent. The end section together with the chape are missing.
- Overall poor to fair condition.

2. George III officer's sword pattern 1796
- The blade: has been much corroded and restored. It appears complete but has no visible etching.
- The guard, pommel and quillion appear original and in fair condition
-The grip has been rebound. There is no scabbard.
- Overall poor-fair condition.

3. 18th century count sword
- The blade appears complete and original with the etching clearly visible
- The guard, pommel and grip all appear original with several cut steel studs missing. One quillion is missing. There is no scabbard.
- Overall poor - fair condition.
