Five 19th/early 20th century fans, bone, the first entitled Espana A Vengar su Honnra, or Spain avenges its Honour, the double paper leaf printed with a scene of Gods in the clouds, and a lion, the verso with a village scene near a river, guard approx. 27 cm; together with an 1880’s fan mounted with pink silk , the upper border applied with a band of cream machine lace; a similar period folding fan with cream silk leaf, decorated with a floral spray , the flowers being embroidered ;a brisé fan shaped like an arrow, the sticks carved and pierced; and a bone brisé fan with 13 inner sticks and two guards (5)
The first fan is in good condition. The brisé lacks a guard. The remaining fans are in need of repair.
