WORKSHOP OF ROBERT 'MOUSEMAN' THOMPSON OF KILBURN a carved English oak boar by Stan Dodds (1928 - 2012), the pig standing on a rectangular base, carved in relief with a mouse, 17.5 cm long x 11cm high
The boar is in very good order without damage.
Good rich colour.
The base has a natural crack running approximately 80% through depth of wood and another smaller running up about 10%.
Those are from a partial knot in the corner of the base.
I was given age as approximately 50+ years.
No losses or additions.
