A ROYAL WORCESTER PORCELAIN TWO HANDLED VASE AND COVER BY CHARLES BALDWYN, the neck moulded with scrollwork and a stiff leaf collar to the shoulder, face mark terminals to the twin handles, the body painted with swans taking flight over rushes the reserve with a single swallow, against a blue ground, signed, all over heightened in gilt, moulded acanthus leaf to lower body, on a beaded pedestal and gilt square plinth base, shape no. 1572, printed mark for 1903 (finial re-applied), 26.5cm high
The very tip of the finial has a tiny chip which has been slightly touched up with gilt. Rubbing to flat part of neck rim and slightly to moulding on the neck, otherwise in good order and without restoration.
