Seat rail to chair is paler colour than rest of frame. Can't think why other than over cleaned following a spillage or similar. Looks like the original seat rail. Two pale water spots on one arm.
The stool frame is paler in parts too - it's either patchy fading or over zealous cleaning. Original finish patchy on top rungs of stool.
Woodwork sound without fractures, chips or cracks.
Upholstery is clean and without damage.
