A CHINESE MOULDED POLYCHROME VASE, of baluster form with moulded and applied reserves of yellow and brown sinuous dragons chasing the flaming pearl, twin dog of fo mask handles with loose moving eyes, on a turquoise ground, the foot rim moulded with waves, moulded Qianlong yellow seal mark but later 19cm high
The heads of two moveable eyes are gone and one other is missing head and stalk. Small chip to edge casing for the pearl. In the circle at the top there is a section missing to the ribbon/cloud. There may be other tiny chips to the fine relief decoration but nothing major. There is some light craclequre. Inside the neck, below the finish of the turquoise glaze, there are several short lines in the white body. I think these may be light firing cracks - there is nothing corresponding on the exterior.
