AN UNUSUAL MID 19TH CENTURY STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY FROG MUG, cylindrical with everted rim and moulded foot, the handle modelled as a greyhound, the interior with two frogs, the exterior polychrome painted with flowers, 16cm diameter x 15.25cm high over handle
Two old chips to underside of foot.
Upper foot rim has numerous small knocks or chips.
There is a firing crack to the centre of the base from which two fine cracks, one either side run across the diameter. The frog has damage to both front legs - webbed foot gone on one and partially to the other.
