A LATE 19TH CENTURY OR EARLY 20TH CENTURY BRACKET CLOCK with German three train movement chiming on gongs, arched brass dial, silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals, blued steel hands and regulator, ebonised case with applied brass and pineapple finials, key and pendulum present, approximately 49cm x 28cm x 20cm

Movement:
Appears original and complete. It has been over oiled using incorrect oil and is patinated
All the springs are complete within barrels
Not a fusee movement
The adjusting dial works upon the suspension and the pendulum is fit for purpose
The escapement does not wag with the pendulum removed
Anchor escapement
Striking and chiming on five gongs. It chimes on the quarter and strikes simultaneously upon the hour

Case
Complete and original. The surface is spotted with white paint
Some wear to the ebonised edges

Glass
Appear original, plain and not bevelled

Dial
Some patination to the silvered chapter ring and regular ring

Hands
Appear original and fit for purpose with some patination
