GB 1840-1970 ONWARDS: One GB Stanley Gibbons Ring Binder Album with an important collection mainly MU with many key period stamps. Approximately forty plus additional QV mixed denomination stamps mostly MU examples include SG153 4d sage Green, SG 159 3d Lilac and full Jubilee Set 1887 SG197-214 together with SG192 4d Dull Green (with RPS Certificate dated December 1997). A most impressive group.
An extensive collection of KEVII. Mainly MU examples include Full Set 1902 -1913 SG215-320 to include SG365 10/- Ultramarine (Catalogue Value £1000) and SG320. £1 Deep Green Centred SE light vertical gum crease fresh and lovely white gum (Catalogue Value £2000). Full 1911 SG279-286 Harrison & Sons Definitive Set. Another impressive group.
George V collection includes many Sets mainly MU, Definitives and Commemoratives including 1929 PUC Set with SG438 £1 (2) both MU with Stanley Gibbons accreditation. ‘Seahorses’ including 1918 SG414 bottom right hand corner of sheet Chocolate Brown ‘Seahorse’ 2/6d.
Extensive George VI collection includes Definitive and Commemorative Sets including MU 1939/48 and 1951 High Value Sets SG476-478 and SG509-512 together with 1948 Royal Silver Wedding Set MU SG493-494.
Extensive EIIR collection includes Definitive and Commemorative issues including MU Coronation SG515-531 and later Definitive Sets together with ‘Castles’ SG536-539 and SG595-598. Many pre-and post decimal Commemorative issues.
