A LATE 18TH CENTURY OAK AND MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK, having an arched dial with painted moon phase, 30cm silvered dial with Roman numerals and Arabic numerals to the chapter ring, two subsidiary dials, engraved foliate scrolls to the centre, gilt metal face mask spandrels, the eight day movement striking a gong, the hood having a broken arch pediment above rounded pilasters, the door inlaid with satinwood urn and oval paterae, flanked by chamfered angles, inlaid boxwood and ebony stringing, the lower panel with circular paterae, on ogee bracket feet, 230cm high
