A VIOLIN BY AND LABELLED CHARLES BRUGÈRE LUTHIER 11 Faubourg-Poissonnière No. 250 Paris Anno 1925 and stamped Brugère à Paris above the end button, the two piece back of medium curl with similar wood to the sides, the table of a medium width grain and varnish of a reddish-brown on a golden ground, measuring 35.5cm (the tailpiece is loose as the tailgut has snapped and there is no bridge)

No cracks on the instrument.

The tailpiece is loose and bridge missing.

The sound post is there and standing in position.

Slight scratching to the finish to the lower back and rubbing of finish on prominent points all commensurate with age and use.

Private vendor whose maternal family line were French.
