A LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH MAHOGANY AND BRASS MOUNTED KETTLE STAND having a pierced gallery above a beehive turned column, the tripod base hipped and scrolled with brass leaf cap mounts, 29cm square x 69cm high

Gilt metal applied scrolls to feet - missing except for one. Had castor at one point now missing. Just brass inserts there now.

One corner upright of gallery is missing. One corner dented. Old crack, small, to one side, waxed over so blends in.

Leg joints good, possibly extra pegs at some stage in the past.

Quality made table.
